Ecocell® Passenger Lifts

Morris Vermaport Lifts is proud to introduce the most ecologically friendly Motor Room-Less (MRL) traction passenger lift, the Ecocell®
The Ecocell® is the most eco friendly traction lift solution available within the UK and fully complies with the British Standard BS EN 81-1. We offer 2 models of the Ecocell®.

  1. A battery backup model that has a geared traction drive
  2. A battery backup model that has a gearless traction drive

Both these Ecocell® products are single phase and are built to ensure we can still provide a reliable traction passenger lift yet meet our customer’s energy saving needs.

Providing passenger lift performance you would expect from a traction passenger lift, the Ecocell® delivers reduced operational costs up to 10 times less than any conventional traction passenger lift and 15 times less that any conventional hydraulic passenger  lift.

Ecocell®

The Ecocell® model runs directly off the single phase supply, and the batteries can be adjusted to balance the supply dependant upon lift usage. The batteries are charged individually and in the event of a power failure will guarantee a sufficient supply to allow the lift to travel at least 100 trips under minimum load. 
The gearless motor has been designed to use only a power rating of 3.0kW from the mains supply which is equivalent to a small residential electrical component.
